COVID-19 Support Fund

Dear Hunterdon Healthcare Community,

COVID-19 has been an unprecedented event to which our Healthcare System has responded with a heroic effort. Our doctors, administrators, and healthcare providers have been working diligently to keep our community healthy and safe. As a member of our community, we wanted to provide you with up-to-date information:

COVID-19 Hotline   Hunterdon Healthcare has created a hotline for the community to call in with questions regarding COVID-19. The Hunterdon Healthcare COVID Hotline can be reached by calling (908) 788-6640. The hotline will be open seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.  To learn more of all Hunterdon Healthcare is doing to keep our community safe and resources available to you, please visit Coronavirus Update page.

Tips to Avoid the Spread of Respiratory Illness   The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to the virus. However there are everyday actions that should be used to prevent the spread of the disease.

  • Avoid close contact with people.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
  • Stay home if you are sick.
  • Wash your hands often and for at least 20 seconds.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces and objects.
  • Cover your coughs and sneezes with a tissue or your sleeve, but not your hands

How you Can Help   Hospitals and healthcare providers are on the front lines saving lives and keeping us healthy as the world confronts this pandemic and they have never needed their communities’ support more. To assist providers and the patients they serve in our area during this critical time, Hunterdon Healthcare Foundation has established a COVID-19 Support Fund.  Donations will support individuals and families negatively affected by COVID-19, including Hunterdon Healthcare employees.  Funds will be used to provide food and other basic needs to those currently struggling as well as assist Hunterdon Healthcare’s efforts to respond to the Coronavirus disease.  You can make your gift by following this link.

We sincerely hope you are safe and healthy.
